Desktop Open Baffles
Miniature replicas of the Zen Master Series Open Baffle Loudspeakers from Decware for your desktop. Pair with the parts express subwoofer (linked to at the bottom of the web site) and you have a reference grade rig for your desktop, kitchen or work area.
Made from solid Wenge and Bubinga hardwoods - High Performance Desktop Open Baffle Loudspeaker (pair) with steel plinths and spikes. Features Dayton Audio RS100P - 8 4" Reference Paper driver, Red Copper binding posts, Gold Brass spikes.
Recommended Power: 2 - 5 watts RMS tubes.
Solid State should be more power but not turned up loud too loud.
Impedance: 8 ohms. Response is 100Hz~15kHz. If speaker is crossed over at 100 Hz power handling can increase to 20 watts RMS. Ultimate sound is from 2 watt SET amplifier running the baffles full-range with no crossover and adding a small subwoofer crossed at 100Hz.
